My oldest sistren made Dianna and me the awesomest graduation cake EVER...

It's been a while.

We all had a bunch of fun at NYR.  Nate and I got on to a vollyball team and we almost won, but then we didn't.  The people were great and the services were really good.  They had very different speakers.  It was a blast.

Yesterday I was at Matt and Shayna's pretty muc all day.  Matt brought me down to a parking lot and tought me how to drive his motorcycle.  It is so much different than mine.  The starting with it wasn't too bad, and the shifting with the hand wasn't too bad, but the stopping was really weird.  I want to try it again soon and get the stopping thing down.

I just got back from pipe practice.  And today I got two harmonies for the grade 3!!!  I pretty exited about that.  I have the thirds to Amazing grace and the seconds to Steam Train.  It's like they give you the harmonies because you are good.  Crappy players don't get harmonies.  And they put me in a different spot in the band...it's exactly opposite the place I was.  I think I have four or five other harmonies that I do with the full band...I'm exited about that also.

The bar gig went pretty good.  Poor Matt had a pretty hard reed for that gig and didn't really have time to get used to it.  they recorded most of it...I think they missed one song we sang with our guitars, but it's pretty fun to listen to.  We all had to keep the drunk guys away from Hannah though...

Hello all,

Well, I'm off to NYR in about an hour.  Nate and I are driving all night and I think it's good that no one else is going, because I can see a lot of laughing for no reason.  It should be fun.  I'll be gone for a week, and be back on Friday.

Matt and I were tuning our pipes together yesterday for one last practice till we have the gig.  We spent probably a half hour working and making everything sound good.  And Matt snapped his seven-year-old reed!!!  it died. So now I gave him one that I had extra, so I hope it works for him. We have a date to play at the bar...August the 2st.  the day after I get back...We have to do all the tuning and crap the day of...weeeeee.  I gotta go get the rest ready to go.

Well...I'm at Matt and Shayna's house watching babies.  I've been here a few days helping out.  We have both been getting ready for playing at the bar this weekend.  And the guy decides to never call me or Matt. Ike had to go to the bar and talk to him in person about this weekend.  and I guess they decided that we aren't going to play, saying that we need another band....I have no idea when we will be able to do do this.  I learned 6 new parts really fast for this thing.  I'm really glad I did all this crap for nothing.   Maybe in August...

Oh yes...the state fair thing is also very stupid and I really don't like the program at all.  So now I have to find some college that I like.  They don't even offer the program that I want...that their website said they did.

Yeah...I'm a little ticked off about that.

I guess we are going to a games in IL this weekend.  It should be fun.
